Soft Tissue Augmentation (STA), Lip Enhancement, Scar and Wrinkle Treatments: STA is a common cosmetic procedure where substances are injected into the skin to replace lost tissue or provide a more pleasing fullness to the skin. STA can be used to correct depressed or atrophic areas of the skin (areas where tissue loss has occurred). STA injectables are done as an isolated treatment in selected patients or combined with photorejuvenation, Botox treatments, or after resurfacing procedures with more assertive lasers.
